GENERAL OVERVIEW
Kibar Group Procurement activities aim at guarantee a “Sustainable, Accountable and Corporate” stranding by means of “Effective, Efficient and Dynamic” purchases in each business line.
With this goal in mind, the Group Procurement Organization has been structured to provide services to the entire Group with a focus on value for money.
1972- Group, took its first step to industrialization with Kartal Sheet Metal Manipulation unit.
1974- Assan Iron and Sheet Metal started producing galvanization.
1982- Kibar Insurance, started activities as an insurance agent.
1984- Kibar Holding A.Ş. was established.
1985- Kibar Foreign Trade A.Ş. was established and it ran the foreign trade for the group.
1988- Assan Alüminyum San. ve Tic. A.Ş. started its activities at the Tuzla Facilities.
1989- Turkish Distributorship for South Korean Hyundai Motor Company was acquired.
1990- Assan Panel started its activities in Tuzla Facilities.
1993- Kibar Insurance and Mediation Services A.Ş. was established. ISPAK taken over and started activities as a Kibar Holding participant.
1994- South Korean Hyundai Motor Co. in partnership with Kibar Holding established Hyundai Assan Otomotiv San. ve Tiç. A.Ş.
1996- Automotive side industry active Assan Hanil Otomotive San. Tiç. A. Ş. with South Korean Hanil Ehwa Co. Ltd.
1996- Established Assan Lojistik ve Filo Kiralama A.Ş
1997- Assan Hanil Otomotiv San. ve Tic. A.Ş. had foundation laid in February and started production at that facility in September.
1998- Assan Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş. was established.
2001- Kibar Intrenational S. A. was established in Lausanne, Switzeland.
2005- Assan Panel İskenderun Facility started its activities.
2006- Dilovası Facilities were taken over and Assan Aluminum Dilovası Facilities became active. Assan Informatics A.Ş. was established.
2007- Assan Construction A.Ş. was established.
2008- Assan Real Estate Development and Investment A.Ş. was established.
2009- Assan Panel Balıkesir Facility started its activities.
2010- Assan Panel Dilovası Metal Paint Facilities become active. Ege Assan Food Marketing Pazarlama San. ve Tic. A.Ş. was established.
2010- Turkey’s 3rd Mediterranean Container port Assan Liman İşletmeleri A. Ş. was
2011- Posco Assan TST Steel San. A.Ş was established. The facility that is located in İzmit Asım Kibar Organized Industrial Region had its foundation laid September 28, 2011.
2011- In Turkish Airlines, THY Technical A.Ş. and Kibar Holding participant Assan Hanil Automotive San. ve Tic. A.Ş. `s partnership TSİ Airplane Seat Production San. ve Tic. A.Ş. was established.
2011- Kibar Industry Co. was established in Amman City, Jordan. Kibar Energy Distribution San. A.Ş. was established.
2012- Assan Alüminyum Dilovası Paint Facility’s foundation was laid on January 26th. Kibar Indutry Jordan Facilities had its foundation laid in April, started activities in December
2012- On August 8 2012 Assan Hanil Paint Facility’s foundation was laid.
2013- Assan Alüminyum Dilovası Paint Facilities paint line had the first bobbin was rolled out with a warm tests start ceremony on May 3rd.
2013- Assan Hanil Paint Facilities became active in July. On August 15, 2013 Posco Assan TST started production.
2013- United Investment Limited S.A. and Galata Port Management A.Ş. made Assan Port Management A.Ş.`s share transfer.
